Zack Finlay fired home a pair of goals in the Rockets' 5-1 pasting of the Castlegar Rebels last weekend.

Rockets’ Three Stars: Finlay shines in uneven weekend for Rockets

Zack Finlay had one of his best games of the season on Friday night in the team's 5-1 win over Castlegar.

1. Zack Finlay

Fired home a pair of goals and added an assist against the Castlegar Rebels before being held off the scoresheet (along with most of his teammates) the following night in Kimberley. Seems to have found some serious chemistry with linemates James Gaume and Spencer Gerth.

2. James Gaume

Was responsible for Finlay’s outburst with a pair of feeds on both of Finlay’s goals. Also added a goal of his own to help give the Rockets some much needed secondary scoring.

3. Spencer Gerth

Would be hard to leave Gerth off this list, as the big rookie had a pair of assists on Friday night as well. His size creates a lot of space for his linemates and he looks more and more comfortable at this level with each passing game. Expect the Everett Silvertips prospect to find a home in the WHL before too long, possibly as soon as next year.
