The Golden Secondary Bantam Boys recently travelled to Vernon to attend a Bantam tournament.

They played with tremendous heart and skill to take first place over several much bigger teams.

The final game was an inspiring come from behind win requiring every player on the team to contribute.

The senior boys’ team (pictured with the bantam team)  was in Vernon as well and came out to cheer for the bantams on Friday night.

Their efforts paid off when the team pulled ahead of Vernon in response to the cheers of the seniors.
