Fresh snow and warm weather for the Huckleberry Loppet

The Golden Nordic Club hosted the 18th annual Huchleberry Loppet on Sunday Feb. 16 at Dawn Mountain.

The Golden Nordic Club hosted the 18th annual Huchleberry Loppet on Sunday Feb. 16  at Dawn Mountain.

Alberta long weekend, and excellent conditions made for a very busy event.

The loppet included events for racers of all ages and skill levels, as well as some entertainment, and a hot chilli lunch in the chalet.

There were more than 100 participants from Golden, down the valley, and Alberta. And more than 100 prizes were donated by local businesses.
