Cash prize for Rockets’ raffle

Golden Rockets raffle to see over $9,000 in prizes.

The Golden Rockets are offering you a chance to win $9,000 on Dec. 20.

“This is our first fundraiser, and we’ll have another one in January,” said Nancy Dupuis, the team’s treasurer.

“This is huge for us, because we had to fix our bus this year, and all the proceeds that we make from this goes to the repairs.”

Only 1,000 tickets have been printed, and three winners will be drawn. First prize is $9,000 and season tickets for 2012/2013, second prize is $999 and season tickets, and a third prize of seasonstickets will be given out as well.

Tickets are $20 each, and are available at the Rockets’ home games, or from team president Curt Thorne at the Canyon’s Edge at 344-3693.

The players will also be going to businesses selling tickets in the coming weeks.
