Pothole problems

A driver from Vancouver talks about pothole problems near Golden.

A couple of weeks ago I was en route to Calgary from my home in the Vancouver area. I hit a pothole (a serious pothole) at the bridge 25 km west of Golden. The impact blew out the right front tire of my car. (2012 model year)

A worker from the bridge project told me I was the second vehicle that day and that this was common. I contacted HMC and they gave me a bunch of platitudes but refused to assist me in defraying the costs of replacing the tire and alignment. (About $700.00)

Have you folks heard any complaints about this?
