Tonight is the first session of “Let’s Draw!”
This free, drop-in program for adults we will be running Thursday evenings over the summer from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.
We’ll share some drawing basics, demonstrations, tips n’ tricks, book recommendations and drawing activities.
All skill levels welcome and materials are provided.
The Summer Reading Club, the free literacy program we offer for school-aged children this symmer, is also under way. Thank you to all the kiddos who came for a ride in the Time Machine.
I want to thank The Golden Dollar Store (407), The Bargain Store, The Great Canadian Dollar Store and the Bargain Basement Thrift Store for the donations and support.
I also want to thank Megan Thoreson and TJ Sov for providing the dinosaur toss games for our first session.
As part of the Summer Reading Club, we have a special guest coming. Magician Leif David will be here Aug. 3, at 2 p.m. This show is free to the public.
