Vera Sime (nee Barber) wife of the late James Sime , passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2020 at the age of 95 years.
Born on July 23, 1925, in Golden BC, she travelled across Canada with her family, residing in Yoho, Revelstoke, Banff, Riding Mountain, Ottawa, finally retiring in Calgary and Golden.
Vera was always busy working at Sears for many years. She loved gardening, knitting, crafting, hiking, skiing, curling, fishing, cooking for her growing family. She took care of herself and was proud of being the same weight as she was at 19 years old. She was an inspiration to a long and healthy life.
Vera is survived by children, Verna, Lois, and Calvin; grandchildren Trevor, Megan, Claire, and Mitchell; great-grandchildren Lilah, Holden, Adele, Emery and Joni.
Vera was predeceased by her husband Jim and her brother Irvin.
There will be no public service.
