In Loving Memory (1995-2023) ~

It is with great sadness and sorrow, that we regretfully announce the Passing of our daughter, Teryn Patricia.

Unfortunately, after struggling with substance abuse, she succumbed, peacefully while resting in a Vernon shelter.

Teryn is survived by Mother Tracy, Father Bruce, Brother Ryan (Janine) Nephews Cole, Jace and Xzavy, Uncle Colin (Heather) Grandmothers Jette and Patricia (Charlie) and half-sister Natasha Lynn Dillon, Cousins Tanner (Nicky) and Lindsay (Dan Trebble) and many other family members, held in her heart.

For most of her life, she resided in Golden B.C. and loved the Rocky Mountains and the Columbia Valley, as a child she was always surrounded by other children, her Mom ran a daycare too, with as many as 14 jubilant little tikes playing in the back yard (related to half usually), she loved Gymnastics "Tearing it Up!" she would say, "Balance beam, Parallel bars and Rings... flips off diving boards and poles didn't faze her daredevil spirit.

Things like dirt biking, camping, and summer get-togethers at the cabin with grandparents were enjoyed.

Many days were spent with me (Dad) too many I presume, but that's a natural Father / Daughter relationship. Getting a load of logs was just part of growing up for her, she understood the whole logging process, stump to mill yard. After receiving the GED certificate, she finished the Care Aid Assistant course, she felt driven to be a counsellor and guide to many others in need.

I spent time in the last days of Teryn's life with her, we have a common spiritual understanding of awareness, she noted contact with her half-sister, Hope Amanda, now deceased 1988 - September 29, 2023, as well as a few other beings.

Being a free-spirited individual, Teryn befriended many strangers, who became acquaintances of hers, living in shelters in Kelowna, Vernon, and Kamloops, using the alias of Jess Watson, she is loved everywhere, a very loving spirit and soul.

What she endured was hard to believe, and as she stated, "What the Mind Conceives and Believes, it will Achieve"

Cremation arrangements are being held by Vernon Funeral Home.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
