Tarsem Kaur Rai
Mrs. Tarsem Kaur Rai passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, September 27th, 2008
at the age of 67 years.
Tarsem was born in Kotlithan, Punjab, India on February 2, 1941. She came to Donald on
April 12, 1970, and the family moved into Golden in 1976.
Tarsem was predeceased by her husband Gurdial in 2002. She is survived by three sons: Manjit (Salinder), Bhajan (Raveena) and Bobby (Nikki), all of Golden; one daughter Satwinder (Jatinder) of Langley; seven grandchildren: Vikram, Jasmine, Imran and Arjan, all of Golden and Mira, Salina and Jaya of Langley; two brothers: Butta (Kuldip) Sandher and Gian (Kulwinder) Sandher, all of Surrey; two sisters: Manjit Deol and Parmjit Mann, both of Surrey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A service was held from the Golden Senior’s Center on Friday afternoon, October 3rd. Cremation took place on Saturday in Salmon Arm.
