We regret to announce the sudden passing of Stephen Fredrick Yadernuk in Phoenix, Arizona on January 15, 2012. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Glenda, daughter Lisa (Hans), son Steven, grand-daughter Amanda, his mother Mary Yadernuk, sisters Gwen (John) and Suzette (Brian), brother-in-law Alan (Cynthia), nieces Anne, Kim, Katie and nephew Gordon. He was predeceased by his father in 1953.

Born on February 6, 1946 in Invermere, Steve was raised in Spillimacheen on the family farm and attended school in Edgewater and Invermere, BC. In 1968 he joined the RCMP and was stationed in Hay River, Inuvik, Lake Louise, Calgary, Red Deer, Sylvan Lake and his final posting at Rimbey. After retirement, Steve and Glenda moved to Salmon Arm and then Enderby where they still resided at the time of his passing.

Steve will be sadly missed by the many lives that he touched but the memories we have of him will remain in our hearts forever.

Friends are invited to join the family for a “Celebration of Life” held at Brisco Community Hall, at Brisco, BC on Saturday, April 14 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Steve’s memory.
