PUKAS, Paul passed away peacefully at his residence in Salmon Arm, BC on July 3, 2007 at the age of 70 years, with his family by his side.
Paul was born at Wynyard, Saskatchewan on March 20, 1937. He lived in Golden, BC for 12 years before moving to Salmon Arm in 1969. Paul was a businessman in Salmon Arm and created and directed Salmon Arm Ready Mix, Tech-Crete Processors and Picadilly Mall with passion for many years.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elvi; two children, Sheldon (Karen) and Lelaine; four grandchildren, Karissa, Hayden, Taigan and Levyn and son in law, Ken. Also surviving are three brothers, Russell, Victor and Peter; two sisters, Trica and Zena and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Terry.
A family graveside service was held in Mount Ida Cemetery on Friday, July 6, at 10:00 am. A celebration of Paul’s life followed at 1:00 pm from the Salmon Arm Community Center, with Jack Bowers officiating and tribute shared by Bill Laird.
