Paul George Jorimann passed away on Saturday February 18, 2017 at the age of 95.  He was born in Moberly B.C. to Anna and Christian Jorimann on December 29, 1921.  Paul lived most of his life in Golden, B.C.  where he retired from being the maintenance superintendent for School District #18 after more than 20 years of service.  He enjoyed working in the outdoors and in his younger years he used his team of horses to log on the family homestead in Moberly.  After marrying his wife Barbara, and having his two sons, Robert and John, he built the family home in Golden.  Later, to support Barbara’s love of horses, they moved back to the family homestead where he was born, and proceeded to develop an Arabian horse ranch on the property.  He always enjoyed working with wood and created many fine pieces of furniture in addition to the buildings on his properties.  Following his retirement from the school district, he eventually moved to Vernon where he continued to pursue his love of woodworking, travelling, and dancing.

Paul is survived by his son John, his daughter-in-law Trish, and his brother Jack as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.  He will be remembered as a caring, life-loving father, brother, and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Abbeyfield Houses of Vernon Society Box 416 Vernon, B.C. V1T 6M3  in Paul Jorimann’s memory.
