Mariam Ryter (affectionately called Molly) passed away on Friday October 31st, 2014 at the Creston Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving sons and daughter.
She touched many lives with her kind generosity and willingness to extend a helping hand.
Molly lived in Golden on their Nicholson farm for approximately 53 years. A Ryter legacy can be seen in Nicholson with many roads named after them.
Molly retired to the Okanagan in 1981. Then after the passing of her dear husband Walter in 1994, she moved to Creston to be closer to her family.
She fought hard to reach her 91st birthday and succeeded.
She will be sadly missed by her children Gary (Kay), Gordon (Marla), David (Loraine), Edgar (Carol), Suzanne Roth, Greg (Kathy), and numerous much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday November 8th at the Creston Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
