Jan 25, 1971 – May 14, 2017
Jeremy Harris was a rebel, a maverick, someone who valued creativity and didn’t follow any rules or anyone.
He is much loved by his incredible wife Terri-Lynn Blizzard and their two amazing kids Olivia (age 12) and Max Henry (age 7), his loving and accomplished parents Pamela and Stuart, and brilliant siblings Jan, David, Michael and Richard Harris.
Born in Canberra, Australia on January 25, 1971, Jeremy travelled all over the world including long stints with Terri in Taos NM, Brooklyn NY, Lake Louise AB and New Denver BC.
Jeremy did so much! His timber frame designs can be seen all over Golden and throughout North America. He was an integral part-and the president of-Golden’s Cycling Club. We can all thank Jeremy for so many of the glorious trails we use and enjoy today. He was also a high-level athlete in mountain biking, rugby and soccer.
He was a true renaissance man with innumerable interests and because of this, he had so many wonderful and cherished friends. Jeremy had a witty sense of humour. We were often in stitches laughing together at his clever and silly antics. He was a loving and dedicated father who enjoyed spending time with his family.
Jeremy wrestled with depression over these last years. Despite getting the prescribed help and love from his family and friends, it overwhelmed him.
We all love you Jeremy. We will miss you deeply.
A memorial to celebrate Jeremy’s life and accomplishments will be held on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 at the Golden Civic Centre from 5 pm-9 pm.
There will be potluck appetizers and a cash bar.
