Mr. Patrick Bryan Karl Englehart passed away at his residence in Golden on Monday, April 4th, 2011 at the age of 55 years.
A celebration of Bryan’s life was held at the Mt. 7 Rec Plex, Golden on Monday, April 11th, 2011 followed by the interment of the cremated remains in the family plot of the Golden Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain Shrine Club for their Children’s Charity, in memory of Bryan.
Bryan was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick on May 7, 1955 and had been a resident of Golden since 1971. He will be well remembered for the hard working, caring individual that he was, in his work as Human Resources Manager at the Louisiana-Pacific plant.
Bryan enjoyed life and all it had to offer, he especially loved the time spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed helping others and did this in many ways throughout the community. He was a member of the Mountain Shrine Club and Mountain Lodge for many years. Bryan loved riding his Harley, fishing and camping and golfing with his buddies.
He was predeceased by his father Vernon on March 7, 2011. Bryan is survived by his wife, Janice of Golden; two sons: Shawn (Laura) of Calgary and Andrew (Nikita) of Golden; his special granddaughter, Lacey; his mother, Charlotte of Cranbrook; two sisters: Lori (Elio) Formenti and Patti (Bryce) Piggot all of Golden; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of good friends.
