Brian Wesley Fletcher died suddenly at his residence in Golden on Friday, May 11th at the age of 57 years. A Funeral Service was held at the Golden Senior’s Center on Friday afternoon, May 18th with Mr. Gary Sulz officiating.
Brian was born on April 19, 1955 in Fergus, Ontario and had been a resident of the Golden area for the past 20 years. He worked with Parks Canada for many years. Brian’s passions in life were spending time with his children and fishing.
Brian was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his four children: Wesley Fletcher, Daniel Crowchild-Fletcher, Jo-Mary Crowchild-Fletcher and James Crowchild-Fletcher all of Golden; five siblings: Lorne (Ingrid) Fletcher of Port Coquitlam, B.C., Kate (Wayne) Denney of Arthur, Ontario, Rick Fletcher of Masset, Queen Charlotte Islands, B.C., Rodney (Susie) Fletcher of Nunavit and Gary (Annette) Fletcher of Victoria as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements were in the care of Hindman Bowers Funeral Home, Golden.
