Mrs. Bant Kaur Sandher passed away in Golden on Thursday Nov. 16, 2006, at the age of 92 years.
The viewing ceremony will be conducted at the United Church on Friday, Nov. 24, 2006 at 5:30 pm.
Cremation will be held at Salmon Arm on Nov. 25, 2006 at 12:01 pm PST.
Prayer service will be conducted at the Golden Sikh Temple on Sunday Nov. 26, 2006. Tea and lunch will be served.
A resident of Golden for the past 28 years she came to Canada from India in Sept. 1978. Mrs. Bant was predeceased by her husband Satnam Singh(1979) son Teja Singh(2005) and grand-daughter Jaswinder (2005). She is survived by her son Atma (Jasbir) Sandher of Golden, and the family of the late Teja Singh which includes Mrs. Pargash Sandher and family. She is also survived by two daughters. Mrs. Sawarn (Makhan) Gill of Abbotsford, and Mrs. Kamaljit (Joginder Singh)Melhi of Abbottsford, B.C., 9 grandchildren Permjit (Patrick) Soles, of Golden, B.C., Surbjit (Manjit) Dhindsa of the USA, Kulvinder (Paviter) Mehli and Salinder (Rani) Mehli of Abbottsford, B.C., Surjit (Hardip) Sandher and Daljit (Rob) Gill of Surrey, B.C., Harjit (Jaspal) Sandher of Kamloops, B.C. and 23 great-grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
