The Golden Star celebrates their win against the Fernie Free Press, but most of the credit goes to the Golden Rockets.
At the beginning of the second round of the KIJHL playoffs, the Golden Star and the Fernie free press made a friendly bet on their hometown teams.
On Tuesday March 12, the Golden Rockets won the series against the Fernie Ghostriders. The Fernie Free Press had to buy the star staff a case of beer, and will have to wear a Golden Rockets jersey for a full day.
