RCMP currently on scene at fatal highway accident

Emergency services are on scene at an accident west of Golden. One male is confirmed deceased.

RCMP are currently on the scene of a road accident at Golden.

At this time police can confirm that one male is deceased.

A collision reconstructionist is on scene to conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.

The highway is currently closed to allow emergency services to respond and for the investigation to be completed. Updates regarding the closure can be found by visiting www.drivebc.ca.
