Highway Update Thusday, January 2

DriveBC reports slippery sections on Highway 1 just east of Golden, between Beaverfoot Rd and B.C./Alberta.

Compact snow between Quatyz Creek Bridge and West boundary of Yoho National Park, passing through Golden, has resulted in slushy road conditions with slippery sections.

Highway SLippery sections continue east of Golden towards Revelstoke due to compact snow. Expect delays past Revelstoke due to avalanche deposit removal

Additionally, there is compact snow between Golden and Radium on Highway 95, with slush and slippery sections.
