Voters across British Columbia head to the polls on Saturday to choose a mayor, council, and other leaders in local government.
Polls are open in Golden at the following location from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.:

There will be no election for Mayor, Ron Oszust will continue another four-year term as Town of Golden Mayor.

There will be no election for School District 6.

CSRD notice of assent voting
Public notice is given to the electors within Electoral Area A of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, that assent voting will be held on the following question:
“Are you in favour of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District adopting Electoral Area A Core Facilities Funding Contribution Establishment Bylaw No. 5777, which will permit the Regional District to make an annual funding contribution to the Town of Golden to cover 20 per cent of the net operating costs of the four core facilities, at a maximum annual taxation limit that is the greater of $125,000 or $0.1238 per $1,000 calculated on the net taxable value of land and improvements?”
Area A residents can vot “yes” or “no” at the following locations:
• Field Community Hall – 315 Stephen Ave, Field
• Parson Community Center-3589 Hwy 95, Parson
• Nicholson Elementary School – 737 Nicholson Frontage Rd, Nicholson
• Joyce Mitchell (Home) – 1416 Adolph Johnson Rd, Moberly
• Joan Titus ( Home) – 2775 Big Bend Highway, Donald
• Golden Civic Center – 806 10th Ave S, Golden
