Nightmare on Elite Street wrestling event coming to Golden

The CWE Wrestling event is tonight (Aug. 9) at the Mount 7 Rec Plex, doors at 6:30 p.m.

Nikita Koloff will be at the Rec Plex event on Aug. 9.

In the years that Canadian Wrestling Elite has been travelling the country, Golden has never made it onto the tour list, until now.

With each and every tour Canadian Wrestling’s Elite (CWE) has produced over the last two years, each one has grown to be bigger than the last, bringing us to the huge cross Canada tour, The Nightmare on Elite Street Tour July 31-August 20.

CWE hosts 21 events in 21 days across five Canadian provinces including first time events here in Golden, Assiniboia, SK, and Sault Ste. Marie, ON.

These full live professional wrestling events across Canada are headlined by a very special guest in NWA/WCW Legend “The Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff!

Beginning his career as one of the most hated villains in the history of professional wrestling, he would go on to become one of the most popular and recognized stars of the 1980s and a Hall Of Fame inductee of the legendary National Wrestling Alliance Hall Of Fame.

Whether it be as the hated or beloved Russian competitor Nikita Koloff has been remembered by wrestling fans as one of the most iconic personalities of wrestling’s “golden age” and as one of the greatest and few superstars to turn down Vince McMahon and his World Wrestling Federation as they overtook the wrestling world decades ago.

Now for the first time ever “The Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff will be touring the country of Canada to meet fans, sign autographs, and take photos prior to every event on tour as well as making a special appearance on the live event as the personal mentor and corner man for CWE’s brand new CWE Champion “Wrestling’s Strongest Man” Tyler Colton.

On top of these very rare Nikita Koloff appearances Canadian wrestling fans will be treated to some if not all of the following special attraction,

– Current Ring Of Honor Television stars “The Last Real Man” Silas Young and “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham who can be seen on television weekly throughout North America on Sinclair Broadcasting affiliates

– a special women’s attraction match featuring Ring Of Honor television star “The Gatekeeper” Kelly Klein

– International stars! Coming to Canada for the first time ever from India is Global Force Wrestling TV Star Mahabali Shera and Japanese wrestling sensation Kaito Kiyomiya as well as over a dozen American and Canadian competitors.

Golden’s local event is taking place on Wednesday, August 9, at the Mount 7 Rec Plex.

There will be a VIP/Meet and Greet at 6 p.m., and the doors open at 6:30 p.m.. Bell time is at 7 p.m.
