I am Malte.  I live in Germany near Cologne.  I am 16 years old and I like skiing very much!  It is great that everybody knows everybody here in Golden.  Thank you for giving me that chance!

 

My name is Camila.  I am from Chile.  I am a Grade 11 student at Golden Secondary School. I chose to come to Golden because it is small. Thank you for welcoming me into your community.

 

Hello Golden, my name is Tim and I’m from Frankfurt, a city in Germany.  I’m going to Grade 10 at Golden Secondary School.  I chose Golden because I like playing golf and Golden has a beautiful golf course and I love skiing too.  I’m glad to have the chance to meet new people and try new sports and activities.

 

My name is Ignacio.  I am from Puebla in Mexico.  I am a Grade 8 student at Golden Secondary School.  I chose Golden because I want to snowboard and because Golden is small.

 

Hello Golden.  My name is Julius.  I’m from Bonn in Germany. I am a Grade 10 student at Golden Secondary School.  I chose golden because of the great ski resort and the nice people.

My name is Lara and I am from a nice and friendly town in Germany called Moenchengladbach.  I am going to be in Grade 10 at the secondary school in Golden.  I chose Golden because of the great ski hills.

 

My name is Ramon.  I come from the heart of Switzerland and I am a Grade 11 student at Golden Secondary School.  The reason I’ve chosen Golden is because it’s probably one of the most beautiful areas in the entire world.   Thank you for welcoming me into your community.

 

My name is Itsuki.  I’m from Osaka in Japan.  I’m a Grade 11 student at my high school I chose to come to Golden because it has beautiful nature and a ski resort!  Thank you for welcoming me into your country and nice to meet you.

 

I am Anja.  I am from Germany where I live in a city called Stuttgart.  I will be in Grade 10 at Golden Secondary School.  I chose to go to Golden because it’s a nice city and there is a lot of nature and wildlife.  I also like skiing and there is a great ski hill here  Thank you for welcoming me in Golden.

 

I am Soeren.  My home country is Germany, where I live in a city called Giessen.  I will be going to Grade 12.  I choose to come to Golden because I’ve seen some free ride skiers at a competition and also Golden is one of the nicest towns I’ve ever seen.  Thank you for welcoming me to Golden.

 

My name is Consuelo (call me Corsu).  I’m from Chile and I’m in the 10th grade.  I chose to come to Golden because of the wonderful view and because I heard that people in here are really friendly and respectful, and I can tell that is true.  Thanks for welcoming lots of students and for giving them the best days of their life (and now for me).

 

My name is Jonathan.  I am from Munich, Germany.  I go to Grade 11 at Golden Secondary School. I’ve chosen Golden because I wanted to live in the country side, and go shred some powder in the winter.

 

My name is Alex. I am from a small country called Andova.  I am a Grade 11 student.  I decided to come to Golden to learn English and see how a Canadian family lives.

My name is Johanna.  I’m from Darmstadt near Frankfurt in Germany. I’m in Grade 10.  I’m coming to Golden because it is in the mountains and you can go skiing and hiking.

 

I am Linda from Germany. I am a Grade 10 student at Golden Secondary School.  I choose Golden because I love the mountains and the snow.

 

My name is Yannik. I am from Frankfurt in Germany. I’m in Grade 10.   I chose Golden because of the ski area. I will go skiing in the winter.

 

Hi! My name is Enrique but people usually call me “Kike”. I am from a small city in Mexico. I am a Grade 8 student at Golden Secondary School.  I chose to come to Golden because it is a small, beautiful town and friendly. It is going to be fun.

 

My name is Marcel.  I’m from Germany near Dusseldorf.  I’m in Grade 10 at Golden Secondary School.  I chose Golden because it is a small town and there is a ski hill just 10 minutes away from it.

 

Hi! My name is Rouven. I live in Switzerland in a little village in the Alps.  It is smaller than Golden. I go to Golden Secondary School to Grade 10.  I chose Golden because it was very hard to leave the mountains and valleys in Switzerland. In Golden there are beautiful mountains too.  I also chose Golden because I really don’t like big towns and I like the nature.

My name is Natalia. I am from Puebla Mexico.  I’m in Grade 8 in Golden Secondary School.  I chose Golden because it is a little town and everyone is friendly. It has a ski mountain and I like snow sports.  Thank you for everything.

 

My name is Paola. I am from Aguascalientes, a small town in the centre of Mexico. I am a Grade 11 student at Golden Secondary School.  I chose to come to Golden because it is so beautiful, small and the people who live here are friendly.

 

My name is Lena and I am a Grade 10 student at Golden Secondary School.  I am from a big city in Germany.  I chose to come to golden because it is a small, friendly town with nice possibilities at school and a great ski hill.  I hope I can make some very good friends and that I have an awesome year here!
