Summer Live Kicks kicking off in June

Summer Live Kicks will be kicking off in late June. This year, with artists from Haiti, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and all over Canada, Kicking Horse Culture is branding Live Kicks as a show where “the world comes to play in Golden.”

As always, every show will involve an artist or band that is on tour as well as a tweener set from a local here in town.

The Town of Golden has purchased a tent this year so that shows can happen outdoors rain or shine.

Shows will begin at 7 p.m. as per usual and those who wish to attend are encouraged to come equipped with their lawn chairs. If it looks like rain bring warm clothes although Bill Usher points out that in most cases, the rain ends before the show begins. And because of the new tent, wires, electrics and instruments can be safe.

This year Golden can look forward to Retrofied, Cousin Harley, The Bitterweed Draw, Caladh Nua, Jenny Whiteley Band, Ti-Coca & Wanga-Neges, Baka Beyond, Michael Rault Band and Oka.

The tweener sets will be announced later and further information of dates and times of each act will also be provided later in the month.
