The Purcell Mountain Orchestra (PMO) will be hosting a concert on Wednesday June 1st at 7 p.m. The concert will be at the Baptist Church located on Pine Drive and will be conductor Laurie Dalzell’s farewell concert with the PMO.
This concert will only be an hour long and has a list of music that will fit everyone’s taste. People of all ages are welcomed to the concert and admission is by donation.
This concert will be quite unique with “a vocal solo by Barbara Ulrich and an original composition by Leo Downey arranged for the orchestra,” says Dana Hudson.
Hudson is also the artist who has arranged Downey’s song for the orchestra, which will also be supported by the vocals of Sarah Osadetz.
Seating is limited in the Baptist Church and people are encouraged to come early to take their spot.
The Purcell Mountain Orchestra holds the musical talents of many locals in town who share the same passion. If you would like to see the concert, be at the Baptist Church at 7 p.m. with your donation.
