Kicking Horse Mountain Resort has announced that the Dogtooth Dash will return to the resort on March 16 and 17.
In partnership with the Alpine Club of Canada and the US Ski Mountaineering Association, the resort will be hosting the 2013 Continental Ski- MoChampionships.
This is and ISMF World Championship season and the event will stand as the North American Championships.
For those who haven’t experience the “Horse” yet, Ian Gale and his team have designed one of the most spectacular and challenging races with the award winning Eagle’s Eye Restaurant serving as a focal point offering great spectating.
Competitors will have two course options that will allow competitors to customize their challenge.
On Saturday, March 16 the elite course which is an epic 6,000 foot climb and descent which is designed for seasoned Ski-Mo racer.
On Sunday, March 17 there will be a second day of racing, just for fun, on a 400 foot short track located at Heaven’s Door Yurt. This will be a team relay with a mass start.
