Hitting the waves to find support

Coming together with music to support the Golden Food Bank.

Drop by or call EZ Rock today, May 3, with donations for the Golden Food Bank.

The event will give people the chance to not only donate in Golden but also to support another food bank in Invermere.

“People will have the chance to phone in and donate to their food bank of choice because it will be the Golden Food Bank and the Columbia Valley Food Bank in Invermere are participating,” said Director of the Golden Food Bank, Barb Davies.

During the event Davies say the most up to date stats on food bank usage in Golden on air while people will also be able to  drop off donations at the radio station.

Davies explained that these types of fundraisers are very important for the food bank because of the need of people in the community.
