This historic photo is of loading logs onto the Columbia River Lumber Company train.
West bench of the Columbia River from Golden, B.C. Once loaded the train went along the west bench, cutting through what is today Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, and they were unloaded at Nicholson to be floated down the river to the mill at Golden.
