Overwaitea giving away free sundaes on Sunday for ‘One Last Day of Summer’

Overwaitea will be giving out free ice cream between 1 and 4 p.m. tomorrow (Sunday, Sept. 21) in 13 cities around British Columbia.

The iconic ice cream sundae...

Overwaitea is offering free Sundaes on Sunday – “one last summer hoorah,” they’re calling it – at all of its participating store locations across B.C.

Promoted as a last day before summer ends – because back-to-school Monday has been delayed until September 21, due to the now-finished teachers strike – and a “chill out” session, Overwaitea is offering the sundaes between 1 and 4 p.m. Of course, the sundaes will be served with Western Family ice cream, one of the food group’s well-known served brands.

“During this busy time for all families, Overwaitea Foods is committed to doing its part to make any task a little easier, and everything goes better with a little ice cream,” a company press release reads.

Overwaitea stores operate in 13 cities across B.C. Head to their website to see if there’s a ‘free sundae bar’ near you.
