Business profile: A passion for windows

By Sarah Wegelin

Window cleaning is a passion, says Pavel Hybner, owner and operator of P and E Window Cleaning Services in Golden, B.C

The entrepreneur has been in the game of cleaning windows for about 10 years; both here in Golden, B.C. and in Mississauga, Ontario. He says the success he’s found in his 10 years of work is due to making his customers happy and enjoying the work.

“I like when customers are always happy,” Hybner says of the professional service he offers.

He is grateful to his customers who always want him back, he explains.

“My focus is on the customer. I offer high quality work and have lots of experience,” he says.

Hybner started his business in Ontario and moved to Golden with his family about seven years ago. Over the years, he has overcome the challenges of getting into awkward window placements and has worked with windows hundreds of years old. His company is built on work he enjoys doing, and the quality of the cleaning services he provides.

“It’s a nice environment, working outside everyday,” he says.

Since moving to Golden to enjoy the mountains and the small community lifestyle, Hybner and his family have moved back and forth between Ontario and Golden in order to continue providing his services all year.

He explains weather conditions in Ontario provide him with the opportunity to work during the winter months, but it has been a goal for him to settle in Golden permanently, and to do to that, he needs to grow as a business.

“I want to be here all the time,” he says.

With the start of another spring season and spring cleaning on the horizon, Hybner might accomplish his goal. He is looking to hire another employee, someone who enjoys window cleaning as much as he does, in order to serve his growing customer base as fast as possible.

To book a cleaning for your home or commercial space with Hybner, who is insured, please contact him directly at 250-272-1194.
