Rian Grace Murphy

Rian Grace Murphy

Born December 5th, 2007 at 9:35 am weighing 2lb 10oz to Peter, Kellie and Big sisters Devon and Alexis Murphy. She was with us for two hours. She passed away peacefully, in her Mommy and Daddy’s arms, of Trisomy 18.

We are so thankful for the precious time we had with her. Our little girl could not have been surrounded by a more wonderful, caring, and compassionate group of people. All she felt was love from every single person who was there.

Words can not describe how thankful we are to live in such a caring community. We are all so fortunate to have the Doctors and Nurses who care for us in our most needing times. We are so happy our little girl got to meet the people that cared so well for both her and her Mommy. A great big Angel hug to Dr. Acton, Dr. Wilson, Pat Weatherall, Dr. Lewis-Watts, Dr. Drysdale and all the nurses that were there for us. Thank you is not enough for all the tears you wiped and all you have done. There truly is one Little Angel looking over every one of us.

We found out nine months ago that we were having you.

We prayed you would be healthy but found out that was not true.

We were chosen to become the family of a very special child, who would come to earth from heaven and visit for awhile.

Each day you grew inside me you felt so very strong but we knew our time with you would not be very long.

You come into our arms and showed us your sweet face then off you went to heaven with your pretty wings and grace.

I miss you Rian oh so much, you visit me each day when I go to sleep on my pillows where you lay.

You stroke my hair and kiss my cheek and whisper in my ear “Mommy don’t be sad, today I’m your baby and I am here.”

So I send this special message to Heaven up above – please take care of my Little Angel, she is sent with all our love.

Love Mommy and Daddy
