Conservation Officer Services responded to a number of reports of vehicles towing watercraft failing to stop at the aquatic invasive species inspection station before entering into Golden from Alberta.

A resident was charged for discharging waste water from the holding take on their camper along Cedar Lake Road.

Officers are investigating an incident in which a large fire was set, burning prohibited materials during a fire restriction.

Conservation Officers would like to remind members of the public that a complete fire ban will come into effect on Thursday, July 26 at 12 p.m.

The penalty for lighting or using a fire during a fire ban is $1,150.
